Photography by Drea is a professional photography company in Southern California. Female owned & operated by me, Drea Mahady for over 25 years. Located in San Diego, California, photographing throughout California, the United States and internationally.
My approach to photography is an artistic vision with a journalistic approach. Well studied in numerous formats, covering a vast number of genres: Sports; Lifestyle; Family portraits; Weddings; Engagements; Senior Portraits; Children; Pets; Real Estate; Corporate Events; Travel; Architecture...all the while striving to capture the essence of the subject at hand.
When not photographing, I’m either involved in sports, playing with my rescues or volunteering at my local animal rescue. Mind you these often lead to taking more pictures. I have been actively taking pictures since I was a Freshman in High School. I have always been drawn to the camera. I love to see my vision come to light.
